Madame Alexander restrung 10" Portrettes 20's Traveler #1139 doll with stand. Her eyes open and close manually. She has shoes and the one of the heels is intact. She is missing her hat.
Madame Alexander dolls are held together with rubber bands. Over the years the bands become stretched or brittle. Don't risk buying a doll that isn't restrung. It may become floppy or break in shipping. All of my dolls have strong and tight bands.
